What will happen if someone partake the wine and bread at memorial? Should we all do that?
They'll tell us to go get our own building to have our memorial.

the full story, as told in the uk guardian can be found at: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2017/apr/16/arctic-ice-cores-melt-university-alberta-canada.
and briefly it tells of an equipment failure at a storage facility for ice cores that had been extracted from the polar ice cap in various locations.. but note, that the layers of ice evident in the cores covered a period of 22,000 years.
and from the christian/jw perspective, that's impossible, for the bible story of the flood (verified by jesus and sundry other biblical writers) maintains that 4000+ years ago, the ice caps would have melted during the period when the earth was covered by the divinely caused deluge.
Perry, ice cores have yearly layers that go all the way back to 880,000 years ago. They are about 2-3 mm thick per layer. Needless to say, it doesn't take much to go over the 6,000 year limit that Young Earth Creationists like to project on the Bible.
my g'daughter and her hubby are stationed in okinawa.. i talked with her a few hours earlier today, and she stated they're preparing for the worst.. young people are remarkably resilient, aren't they?.

Unsure,
Packing peanuts moving do not conclusively prove it was the psychic using their breath. Packing peanuts are little bundles of static electricity.
There was an even better expose of the same 'breather' that proved definitively that he was ricocheting air through his hands. There were two investigators who invited the psychic to participate in an experiment. There was also a hidden camera as well.
The psychic did a one up on the phone directory thing and decided to his thing on a dollar bill that was standing on a pin below (Made it easy to twirl around). It was to be covered by a small upside down fishbowl on top of a table.
They were really curious since that would have been an enormous feat but they still knew it had to be his breath. They were going to put directional microphones to pick up on the sound of any breathing. The psychic refused. So they went ahead and he did his hand thing and the bill twirled around inside the upside down fishbowl.
After the investigators saw that they took him out of the room temporarily and then snuck in and turned the fishbowl around. They realized that small simple fishbowls like the one used would be uneven at the top. That would create a thin air gap on one side that in theory could allow some of the breath to come in. By switching to the side of the glass that had no air gap they would make it impossible for him to extend his hands sufficiently to deflect the air stream.
The psychic came back into the room, began his performance, and failed. He said in exclamation that "there was something wrong". Upon saying that he kicked the table in anger. Case closed. Real Skeptics never give up.
i dont know where to start so why not at the beginning.
i was seeing this girl and we hit it off great chemistry.
it went from a physical to a deeper relationship.
James87,
Part of me feels like I have failed and a part of me feels relieved and lucky that I didn't marry her.
Celebrate the second part.

James87,
She left before so odds are she can again.
Why did she leave in the first place? It's usually for "fornication". Did she get disfellowshipped (excommunicated)? When that is the case they still remain believers but feel enormous guilt and long to get back into it. You should ask her why she wants to return after having been out for a while.
question for some of the old-timers in the congregation.
did those who professed to be of the anointed and partook of the bread, did they break off a piece of the bread and then eat it; or did they take the whole piece and eat it?
TakeOffTheCrown, I'm curious to know why you're interested in this.

Blondie,
VI, I don't know about the congregations you attended, but the various ones I attended, the unleavened bread was like hard cracker and had to be broken to get a piece to eat.
My apologies for the misunderstanding, I should have said crackers. I must have been thinking about the original Last Supper where it was referred to as bread.
